The other day, President Bush had a press conference where he made fun of Peter Wallsten for wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day. The fact is, Peter Wallsten has Stargardt’s disease which causes progressive vision loss and sensitivity to any light. Even I don’t make fun of blind people, I just wave my hand in front of their face. I’m suprised this is the first time for Bush.
Today, he called Peter Wallsten on his cell and apologized to him.
“He said, `I needle you guys out of affection,'” Wallsten said. “I said, ‘I understand that, but I don’t want you to treat me any differently because of this.'”
Bush talking is like a five year old playing scrabble, both funny, but only because their words are nonsense. You can see the original video below. Next up for Bush, making fun of amputees.
