Lindsay Lohan is profound
For the most confusing statements of the day, Lindsay Lohan says she wants to focus on her career rather than boyfriends.
“I need to focus on my career and getting my life in order,” Lohan tells Harper’s Bazaar in its July issue, on newsstands June 20. “My mom married young, but it was a different time.”
I don’t think she can just snap her fingers and release those men from her legs just like that. She knows that they have been cemented in there. She goes on to say:
“I’ve heard that guys are intimidated by me even though I’m not an intimidating person,” she says. “I’m honest and straightforward, and people aren’t used to that.”
There is also the argument that she may be winning in the STD contest with Paris Hilton. Although, that may only be a small factor in the intimidation. She doesn’t stop there though:
“People like to think that just because I’m young and like to enjoy my life, I’m some crazy party girl,” she says. “I hate the term `party girl’ I hate it.”
Last I checked, most 19 year olds don’t sneak into a bathroom to do five lines of coke at every event they attend and call it “enjoying life”. Here is Ms. Serious Actor at the premiere of A Prairie Home Companion.
