The Shield in for seventh season

FX has picked up The Shield for its seventh and final season with Shawn Ryan staying as head writer and executive producer. Its 10 episode sixth season is set to premiere in early 2007 and its 13 episode seventh season in late 2007 or early 2008. I’m left wondering why this is ending and The Unit is still around. The Unit will remain one of the most boring shows to premiere last season. So boring, that I would rather watch nude wrestling with Star Jones and…uh, nevermind, I think I just imagined half of that.
