Arne, I'm impressed with your insight into Marilyn Monroe. I am a believer in those that come into this world and overcome major hurdles/struggles often become teachers to the masses. I'm not sure if P. Hilton has ever had to struggle much nor overcome hardships.
In agreement.

Like Marilyn Monroe, Paris Hilton rose to fame via public fixations. But Marilyn had magnitudes more depth, integrity and talent than Paris shows so far. Many best-in-the-business types ranked Marilyn among the most gifted of her peers.

It's our fault (not yours or mine personally! Ours overall) for letting a spoiled rich girl have her way with the media. Why not enact a two-year ban on Paris Hilton reporting!? Let's focus on real people, however they look and dress, making a difference in this world - an area where Marilyn shone too! (See *below)

Thank you. Arne Sahlen -- (responses: ads@cyberlink.bc.ca)

*Despite an appalling childhood and poor schooling (bounced to many foster homes, an orphanage and at least NINE schools), Marilyn struggled all her life to rise above her dumb-sexy-blonde image. She championed the poor and poorly-treated, and was famously generous to family, friends and causes. Strongly anti-racist, she aided Ella Fitzgerald’s rise to jazz-singer fame. She spoke out against nuclear weapons and for world peace, and pioneered a drive to raise women's status in film and business - as feminist leader Gloria Steinem confirms in her Monroe biography.

All this ran alongside a lifelong passion to study and perfect her craft - and a lot of high praise from top acting coaches, directors and reviewers, e.g. "No techniques, only truth"; "terrifically ambitious to do better...and bright, really bright"; "...as near genius as any actress I ever knew...the most completely realized actress since Garbo" etc. etc.

Put THAT in your empty little head and think on it, Paris!

I am sick and tired of this arrogent little witch comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe. She has absolutely nothing in common with Marilyn and never will. Marilyn had class, elegance, compassion and a brain, something Paris can only wish she had. So much for the admiration of Marilyn by Paris, why on earth does Paris think burying this goat in a crypt beside Marilyn is classy, elegant or smart????? This just goes to show how brainless Paris is. And don't get me started about Princess Diana, Paris "Save the Children" of a 3rd world country if you want to do something inspiring for the world to recognize you. The only person you can compare yourself to is Lindsay Lohan, and we all know how much you respect her!!! hahahah!!
