Pirates of the Caribbean breaks every record

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest made $132 million over the weekend. It broke both the records for amount made on opening day and for a weekend opening. On Friday, the movie made $55 million beating out Revenge of the Sith which made $50 million. Over the weekend, it pretty much kicked Spider-Man’s record of $114 million in the balls and left it on the ground crying. Not only did it break records, it managed to set one. Pirates of the Caribbean became the first movie ever to pass the $100 million mark in two days.

It makes you wonder how a flamboyant pirate could attract so many fans and at the same time, it also makes you realize The Village People really missed out on something big. They had the gay cowboy already, but all they needed was a gay pirate.
