Disney will still release Apocalypto

There were rumors that Disney planned to not release Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto and that they were shopping it around to other studios for distribution. Disney today confirmed that the Mayan language film is still set for release on December 8.

If Roman Polanski can win Oscars for The Pianist, then Mel Gibson should have no problem bouncing back from a DWI and anti-Semetic blabbering. Then again, Polanski didn’t inslut half of Hollywood. He just fled the country after drugging and raping a 13 year old girl.
