Paris Hilton handed a DUI charge

Paris Hilton was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher. Her arraignment is on Thursday in LA at 8:30 AM, but Paris isn’t required to show. She faces either a $1,000 fine or six months in jail.

It’s suspected that she’ll plead guilty and end up just paying the fine, attend DUI school and be on three years probation. Paris regrets that this happened at all and blames her long work day with no food for her erratic driving.

That $1,000 is really gonna put a dent in the Hilton family bank account. It’ll be a trying time especially when she has to drive around town in a beat up SLR. It looks like there’ll be no turkey for the Hiltons on this Thanksgiving and poor Timmy still needs that operation.
