Black rights groups are criticizing the casting of Angelina Jolie as the mixed-race Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart (a movie about slain WSJ writer Daniel Pearl). Detractors are insistent that a real mixed-race actor like Halle Berry should have been selected.

Angelina could not be reached for comment as she was in makeup wrapping a handkerchief around her head and smearing black shoe polish on her face.

    I don’t know why all the hype…after all…Angelina Jolie is part African American!
