Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner are done

Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner have ended their relationship. Richie’s rep confirmed and says they are still close friends. According to Us Magazine’s source, Nicole broke up with Jenner because she felt it was too soon coming off a nine-month engagement to DJ AM.

Yet, on Nicole’s MySpace she writes:

I know there are rumors regarding my “breakup” with Brody Jenner. The truth is, we were never really together. We hung out, and he’s a nice guy, but my heart was never in it.

Anything further is just a cry for publicity.

A cry for publicity? A cry for publicity is a defensive rant written on MySpace. Why not just put “I never loved Brody Jenner. XOXO, Nicole Richie” on a flying billboard?
