I couldn’t resist posting pictures from the Victoria’s Secret 2006 Fashion Show featuring:

So not all of these girls are pictured although they were modeling. The show was filmed on Nov. 16 and will be broadcast ed by CBS on Dec. 5. I’m not sure if they’ll be streaming it over the net again.
Seeing all these beautiful women in one place might take your breath away, but not mine. For me, this is what I call a slow day. No really, I am just that devilishly handsome and charismatic. Ladies can’t resist me and my GHB. A lot more after the jump.
just to correct you guys, the black girl with the shaved head is Alek Wek (not Ajuma), and the other black girl is Oluchi Onweagba

The model with the pompoms (vsecret-18) is Jessica Stam. She is also in vsecret-53, vsecretm-13, -15, -16, -18.
Both Heather and Jessica are Canadians.

Okay this may sound like a weird question, but here it goes. Throughout the show when Heidi Klum was doing her talking part, there was a slow song playing in the background, but without the words. I have heard this song before and have heard someone perform it at an open mic night, and I absolutely LOVE it! If anyone has any idea as to the name and singer of this song, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

The Jamelia song is mixed with a Depeche Mode song. Can’t think of the exact name of the song right now. I think it is from their Violator CD. LOVED this version!!!

The vs fashion was cool. A little to much cleavage everywhere (almost poked my eye out). Jessica Stam was beautiful and so where all the black girls! It would have been better with Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum though…

Especially for those who like the song during the PINK segment, I added my mashup of Kelis – Bossy (Switch) vs Entry of the Gladiators to my MySpace page.
Have to agree with you Joy, on missing Tyra and Heidi. The one thing I will complain about, (and I think this is one of the best shows they’ve had in years), is the biggest lingerie show on the planet was missing one tiny, small thing– curves. Girls with some flesh on them. There were a few girls with some body, who I will mention in my ‘VS show Part 2′ post on my LJ soon (doing a little VS show report type thing), but most of them were too thin to pimp lingerie. For example, I adore her to death, but Jessica I spy all your ribs there girlie… Not sexy!
About the models: I’m having trouble i.d.ing some of these girls, and since this is about the best place I’ve found so far that have people who actuallly may be able to name them. Also, I think there were more than 27 girls. I seem to see a couple of girls I can’t name, but whose names are not on that list. I could be wrong though, a little help??
I’ll review the show and then come back and post which ones I need names for.

I know that’s confusing to anyone who doesn’t have the show recorded to go to, but these are the two that walked just before Gisele. So it was Caroline W, Hana, then Gisele… ?

A Spectacular Display of the Total Art of Fashion!
The vision begins; a luminescent sign catches immediate attention.
For in the darkness above the rows of seated guests and against the backdrop of the brightly lit runway shine the huge golden letters S E above and X Y beneath.
Theme, what else?
SEXY.
No better hint at what is to come.
It is time to savor Victoria’s Secret.
A wide screen parts to reveal an emerging white-winged angel.
She drifts forward and rises up into the air above the catwalk.
She blesses SEXY as she glides up past the golden letters and out of sight.
Pause.
Caroline Trentini struts out and the walk of grace begins, another model close at her heels.
Natasha Poly emerges.
Gisele Bundchen now moves powerfully across the stage, her long gorgeous legs swinging back and forth and out of folds of cloth.
The designs are immaculately detailed, each one sparking keen interest immediately as it glides out and down the mirrored floor.
There is a poignantly feminine style about the tailoring.
Some purple and pastel colors and then some white satin and sheer fabric, glamorous and flippant at once on the exquisite dressy negligee outfit pieces fixed together.
Gisele comes out again. She looks magnificent.
These beautiful designs spiral from a collage of feather plumed petticoats laced only with the live Scottish bag-pipe themed music that is playing in the background to the house’s trademark diamond cut curve of sexy and absolute couture.
‘So cute, you won’t believe there’s no lace’ comes to mind.
Karolina Kurkova. Oluchi Onweagba.
There are nicely perked brassieres trimmed in feather and naughty, barely there bottoms hooked up and sliding at angles across the girls’ behinds.
The flow is endless. It’s impossible to choose a favorite piece.
And then a choir appears in the glowing white panel of brackets at the centre of the stage behind the models.
The girls move on gracefully between the rows of mesmerized onlookers.
The musicians sing along to the music, swaying rhythmically in their white, long sleeved robes and raising their voices. It’s such a fully holy and unexpected sound. It’s perfect.
But there’s more.
Suddenly showers of confetti fall over the runway.
One can hardly notice the photographers and their flashing cameras now. In the shadowed front row Paris Hilton is delighted, laughing as she and a friend brush off confetti.
The crescendo has peaked.
The choir disappears into the white light.
Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack starts to blare loudly from the invisible speakers.
The last of the winged and plumed models are striding out.
So soon it comes to an end.
Up above the lone angel that had ascended the heavens drops slowly downwards.
She lands silently on the long mirrored floor edged with sparkling light.
The angel drifts back through the doorway she and the girls had emerged from, drawing back the tide of beauty behind the large divided screen.
The music plays on as the panels draw together. The screen slowly slides shut and the light blazes out.
Only the golden letters S E X Y above remain.
An enormous absence is felt.
A spectacular display of the total art of fashion has just been witnessed.
Thunderous applause.
[Yeah, I was so impressed that I wrote this].

i tink victoria secret 2005 is better than tis year,ther’s no tyra banks,heidi klum n naomi campbell.
This was the first time I have seen the show and models on a top quality tv. Adriana was quite impressive looking in the interviews and close-ups. I thought the girl in green holding the “love pink” cone was also Adriana but later learned that was Miranda. But the most absolutely stunning performance was that of Doutzen Kroes.
VS corp should offer the entire show plus additional footage not included in the broadcast along with interviews and stills of our favorite models on DVD disc. Of course, for having thought of such a brilliant idea, I expect to receive a courtesy copy as soon as possible !
