Lindsay Lohan is in AA

Lindsay Lohan’s rep confirms that the Mean Girls star has been attending AA.

“Yes, she’s been attending some meetings, and it’s going to be a slow process. This is a positive period. Let’s hope that the press doesn’t turn it into a negative. Maybe if (the press) backs off on her she’ll be in a good space. Let’s see if we don’t have to hear about it every day, and they’re following her and trying to find her. Because that will just really not be good.”

Apparently she hasn’t been doing too well as evidenced by the GQ Awards story earlier today. I fully expect Lindsay to be sipping on a bottle of Grey Goose while she’s in a meeting. Nothing is more entertaining than taunting reformed alcoholics with the very thing that destroyed their lives. If you asked Lindsay what the first step in the AA program is, she’d tell you it was to secure an 8-ball and get crunk. God bless this girl.
