Angelina Jolie’s mother died

Angelina Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer Saturday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Jolie’s brother, James Haven, and husband, Brad Pitt, were both at the hospital on Saturday.

Marcheline Betrand raised Jolie and her brother after divorcing husband and actor Jon Voight. Marcheline was also an actress and had small roles in Lookin’ to Get Out and The Man Who Loved Women. The family asks donations be made to the Women’s Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai in lieu of flowers.
