J.Lo’s dad is a scientologist

In an interview with Miami’s NBC 6, Jennifer Lopez revealed that her father, David Lopez, is a, GASP!, Scientologist. She defended the religion, but at the same time made it clear she wasn’t a part of it.

“My dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years. It’s weird people want to paint it in a negative way. I, myself, am Catholic. But it’s just sad that people would look at it Scientology in that way.”

They make Scientology sound so dirty. Like some dark secret akin to being gay or having a receding hairline. I say they’re just not marketing it right. The hardcore Star Trek fans would love this. Aliens, e-meters, spaceships, some women. How can they resist? This is like a wet dream turned into reality.
