Angelina Jolie escapes kidnapping

Being a UN Ambassador isn’t as glamorous as Angelina Jolie makes it out to be. Her travels to dangerous countries has caused Brad Pitt to fear for her safety. At one point, there was even a plot to kidnap and hold Angelina for ransom.

“It was in a small village,” she says. “I won’t say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily.”

Thankfully, this has not deterred Angelina from working with orphanages or managing her overseas charities. I’d assume it’s ridiculously hard to kidnap this girl. Especially in a third world country. Unless the whole village was in on it, all the authorities would have to do is ask where the pretty white woman went. Someone would eventually point to a hut. They could also just as easily follow the loud swooning or look for the blinding white light emanating from Angelina’s body.
