Mel Gibsons explodes

Mel Gibson spoke to a film class at Cal State University at Northridge in the San Fernando Valley last night. At the end of his presentation, Alicia Estrada, an Assistant Professor of Central American Studies at CSUN, asked Mel if he had ever read about Mayan culture before shooting Apocalpyto. Estrada then said it was wrong and racist to portray the Mayans as bloodthirsty and sacrificial. Mel angrily responded, “Lady, F**k off.”

We’re told Gibson also became extremely angry when members of the Mayan community protested on how they were portrayed in the film. The emotional Mayan members were escorted out of the room, and we’re told Gibson screamed a parting shot — “Make your own movie!”

Mel Gibson’s agent released this statement: “He needs more anger management training. It’s time to be cool.” While it would be fun to laugh at Mel Gibson, the guy was nice enough to speak at a random film class. That is, before a few Mayans had to whine about how their heritage wasn’t based on carving out people’s hearts. Which it totally was because movies never lie. Why couldn’t they have asked something important such as what was Danny Glover like in Lethal Weapon or if his uncredited role in Paparazzi as “Anger Management Therapy Patient” was a sign.

Seriously though, it would have been a good thing if that girl just appreciated the movie as an art or something. I mean I never saw it but all my friends agree that it’s awesome so Mel Gibsy probably deserves credit for it.

Mel Gibson’s movies are regarded across the board to have 100% more historical integrity than the usual effluent pumped out by Hollywood. He is subjected to unfair scrutiny.

She was just being disruptive. THERE ARE other versions of the story by audience members which reveal:

A) Gibson was initially very patient with the professor and
B) She had it coming.
