I am 73 years old. When my sister, brother and I were children we suffered many verbal and physical assualts from our father. When I was 10 years old our mother finally had the courage to divorce our father. We had to run away and hide hoping he would not find us before their divorce was final. It took one year in those days to obtain a final decree in California. He found us - and nothing had changed. He could never control his temper and as a result his children suffered greatly. There was a restraining order placed on him and that seemed to do the trick for awhile. Why, after all these years am I making these comments? My father's children have all had very hard unhappy lifes. It is almost impossible to think well of your self when you have been called terrible names from the time you can remember. From the person who is suppose to love and protect you and instead because of his own frustrations took all of his misery out on his children. Mr. Baldwin get some help. Leave you daughter alone until you can say you have learned to control your ugly temper. Or ruin her life. It is up to you. April 27, 2007
