Paris Speaks, county officials not happy

Paris Hilton’s attorney Richard A. Hutton has released this statement on her behalf,

“I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes.”

What is this crap. Is she rubbing it in? The only thing fair about this is nothing. Does she like cupcakes? Hey, get her some cupcakes or she’ll cry again. God, If an idiot like this can get out of jail then I’m about to start my new job as a booby inspector. I’ll carry a clipboard to make myself more “official” looking and maybe I’ll wear a lab coat because I look really sexy in white.

And at least one county official isn’t happy. L.A. county supervisor Don Knabe had this to say,

“This incident with Paris Hilton is just the most recent that highlights the problems our criminal justice system has with making sure sentences stick, whether it is in a County jail or under electronic monitoring.”
