If she isn't already fairly fluent in Spanish, all she's going to do is hinder the baby's language development because it's only going to hear a few words and phrases directed at it. She might as well stick it in a box, it would be less confusing than why when baby goes googoogaga, Mommy just looks puzzled and constipated because she can't translate googoogaga in her head.
