As reported would happen, Madonna and Guy sent a statement to the AP which read, “Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after 7 1/2 years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time.”
I ask you all to respect Madonna’s privacy during this time. A simple request made in the press release she sent to the AP. Which has been picked up by every media outlet in the world. Poor Madonna, why won’t people leave her alone?
