Someone is getting fired

The Golden Globe Awards aren’t until this Sunday, but apparently the guy who runs their website has no idea because yesterday, a gold star appeared in front of Anne Hatahway’s name for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture -Drama.” The star, which denotes the winners in each category, has since been removed and a publicist for the Golden Globes plans on releasing a statement today. Just as soon as he figures out how to explain why the website shot its wad so early.

The the most logical thing to do is call a press conference and when they’re at the podium, wave their hands in front of everyone’s faces and say, “You saw nothing.” You know, use their Jedi mind tricks. And if that doesn’t work, threaten their families. And if that doesn’t work, run away crying like a little girl.
