Continental Connection Flight 3407 crashed into a Buffalo, New York home late Thursday killing all 48 people on board and one person on the ground. On its way from Newark, New Jersey and 10 miles out from its destination, witnesses say they heard unusual rumbling, sputtering and other odd noises coming from the aircraft. At around 10:20 p.m., it hit a house and erupted into a fireball.
A dozen residents were evacuated while fire crews rushed to put out the fire. The NTSB is preparing to investigate the crash.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of flight 3407. I live in Buffalo and I have been watching the coverage since thursday night’s 10:00pm news, I was shocked and saddened by the news. Things like this just don’t happen around here! I feel for everyone who lost their loved one’s and I wish there was something I could do to help! I will continue to pray for all the families.
