I enjoyed watching Jon and Kate plus 8 in the beginning years of their children developing into considerate, loving personalities. Then, greed and selfishness entered the picture–by no means were the children responsible for the sins of the parents. But, Jon and Kate made a choice–they chose money over the happiness and security of their children’s lives. I could care less Jon was ‘too young’ to handle such a large family, or that his wife is often time quite controlling (which if you had 8 children and a non-participatory husband you would be a little controlling as well). He made those precious babies–too late to regret that FACT. He is a selfish B..tard, and his public actions (that his children are very much aware of) make me beyond sick. He deserted his family and he will pay a price for his decision. What goes around comes around–100%.

Peole will leave them alone when they join society and stop mooching off the public, you want privacy? Don’t go on TV simple solution. I hope the money was worth thier family and innocence, because thats what it’s costing them.
If you were a true friend you would point this out to them, and stop them from allowing Mady to be such a mega brat. When she gets older and reads te stuff written about her she will hate her parents as the rest of the world does.

I have enjoyed watching the show. My husband and I have been married for 34 years and we have both made mistakes and sometimes treated each other without respect. I am sure that has happened in every marriage where 2 strong personalities clash from time to time. We did not have media following us to accentuate the tension so it was far easier to work out the problems. If there is love you will find the answer whether to stay together or perhaps part for the sake of what is best for you. It does not matter what others think or say, what matters is how you feel and see yourself and each other.

I happen to be best friends with Jon and Kate…I hate all of the crap that the media brings on..it ruins peoples lives!!!!!!I love them both and I especially love their children!I wish that the media would leave it all alone.

Nasty! This guy looks like the pregnant man. How he got two women interested in him is mind boggling. Of course, Kate is a ball-chewing, shrew, harpie, so he at least has the sense that he needs to bail on her ASAP!

I feel uncomfortable watching the show anymore. Kate is too controlling and not very nice to Jon. I think she needs more therapy than she realizes and Jon needs to take responsibility for his actions and stop his randy behavior. He’s a father of 8 and has a wife and he has to honor that commitment. In their quest to provide for the 8 kids, they have lost themselves in the appeal of TV and notoriety. They should focus on saving their marriage. These are not perfect people (even if Kate believes otherwise). You’re young and the immaturity is showing. Growing up is hard to do, but you have 8 kids who need both of you to stay and work together for their sake. They show may have become a tool for survival for 10, but at what cost?
