Yep she can now trash-can and dumpster pick and accept girly hand-me-down clothes from her family for the new daughters and drab bum dress them like the son, as to not make them material goods obsessed..? Oh perhaps the wan-pale, starving son can wear only male-type clothing now? Sarah could never pass on a freebie and slipped a few girly things on the boy hoping we wouldn't notice? Hooray for him., maybe even new shoes never worn by another or a belt, you know., there is a God and she may go crazy and allow the son a masculine haircut now and then and more than a defrosted waffle or pop tart for breakfast.
