Fresh off her nude, but not really nude, scene in I Love You Beth Cooper, execs are developing a lesbian story line for Hayden Panettiere’s character on Heroes. Suffice to say, Claire Bennet will be going through the typical experimental college years where she turns Rastafarian for a few episodes and then starts getting into chicks. But only when she’s at a party with a lot of guys watching or promised a free t-shirt.
“It’s just girlie fun at first. But it might progress into something more serious. It depends on how viewers respond.”
Considering 90% of the people who watch Heroes are sexually frustrated males, I think it’s safe to say it’s going to get really serious, really fast. In fact, if Hayden doesn’t have a full on sex scene with another girl, expect outrage. From Ted83. On the Heroes forums.
I’m sick and tired of shows trying to be ‘edgy’ by introducing bisexuality or homosexuality. It’s cliche, it’s too risque, and it shows that the producers of Heroes will go to any depths to dredge up new viewers. How sad for a series that started off with so much promise; if this is further developed, Heroes has lost one more viewer.
Seriously this is BS. The show had so much potential and now it’s crap. If this is serious i’m done with this retarded series.

Hey now, some of us are sexually frustrated FEMALES.
That aside, however much I’ve wanted a gay character on one of my favorite AMERICAN shows, this reeks of ‘controversy and girl-on-girl will boost our ratings!’ No, it won’t. You know what will, Heroes? GOOD WRITING! I don’t care if you have to sell your firstborns to Brian Fuller to get him back on the show, just GET HIM BACK!
