Ryan Alexander Jenkins has been upgraded from person of interest to potential suspect in the killing of Jasmine Fiore. If you remember, Fiore’s body was found last Saturday stuffed in a suitcase and thrown in a dumpster. Yesterday, Ryan’s rep said he was contacting attorneys and would be cooperating with police shortly. His rep may want to double check that because cops suspect he’s fled on foot for the Canadian border.
- Yesterday evening a witness reported seeing someone matching Jenkins’ description driving a black BMW SUV (we know he owned one) with a boat in tow in a marina which is extremely close to the Canadian border.
- A short time later deputies found the boat and the SUV abandoned.
- A manhunt then began for Jenkins by land, sea, and air, conducted by federal agents, deputies, cops, and Canadian authorities.
- They were unable to find Jenkins and now think that he literally made a run for the border — crossing over by foot.
Jenkins shouldn’t be hard to track at all. Fame whores are predictable. All Canada would need to do is send out a casting call for a reality show in which contestants could win $250,000. It’d be analogous to chumming the water for sharks. Or they could tie a dead model and a suitcase to a fishing pole. That would work too. The only hard part with that is finding a good suitcase to use.
