He fumbled over it, which altered the pronunciation a bit, but just like finally being able to see a Magic Eye picture through its kalidescope of abstract shapes, I have finally reached enlightenment over this issue. Oh, sure, I can still alter my hearing to make it SOUND to me like he's using the 'f' word, just like I can blur my vision after a Magic Eye picture has been revealed, so as to muddle it up again. But really folks, a man with four and a half decades of experience in front of a camera doesn't just blurt out the 'f' word like that. You either hear him saying 'plucking', or you're just hearing what you want to hear. Plucking sad.
