Kate Gosselin wants to act now

Kate Gosselin says that even after her show is finished, she still wants to be in the spotlight. Shocking. Kate says she would love to be in movies or even be the voice of a cartoon character.

“I’ve done enough years on TV that I feel like it’s a normal, comfortable, natural place to be,” she said. “I’d love to be in a movie at some point, I’d love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.”

Because reality tv translates so well into an acting career. Just look Colleen Haskell from The Animal. Her film career just took off after Survivor. And Jamie Chung from The Real World. Next year, Academy Award. Actually, she isn’t doing too bad, but that’s because she’s hot and doesn’t have a dead animal living on her head. Unless the Wayans are doing another parody movie that involves a Gosselin-type woman giving birth to 15 babies in the most inane way possible, I don’t see her winning awards any time soon.
