Pete Wentz calls for the death of emo (haircut)

October 3rd was a momentous occasion. On that day, society came one step closer to stopping our male youth from pumping their veins with synthetic estrogen a la skinny jeans, mascara and effeminate haircuts. On that day, Saturday, during a Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC, Pete Wentz declared the death of the emo haircut and had Mark Hoppus shave his head in a symbolic gesture. However, it was a bittersweet moment since Mark didn’t slip with the clippers and accidentally nick Pete’s carotid artery as many had hoped. Still, it’s a start.
