Not only was it skabky and would have been if it had been straight; it was the worst vocal performance ever heard from him. What the hell was he thinking? Oh and please don't hide behide the "gay double standard" thing. Offensive is offensive, regardless of how it is presented. The guy has the most amazing voice. He could stand there, sing his heart out like he did on Idol, and bring the whole audience to its feet. That he chose to use this golden opportunity to present himself in this way is a sad testament to today's need for "shock value" I miss that sweet, well spoken guy from AI.
