No one likes Chris Brown

Chris Brown is attempting a comeback tour aptly named the “Fan Appreciation” tour. The concert series kicks off Nov. 14 and ends on Dec. 15. Although, he can probably close a lot earlier, say Nov. 16, since no one is buying tickets. Turns out fans are turned off by guys who beat their girlfriends.
“This is definitely not the outcome [Chris' label] Jive Records hoped for,” says an industry exec, adding that the poor ticket sales are surely a result of Brown’s now-infamous altercation with Rihanna in February. “Chris lost a lot of fans after he assaulted Rihanna. And after that whole scandal, he’s not exactly kid-friendly. What parent would buy their children tickets to his concert?”
Chris Brown’s agent isn’t worried, however. He says he expects all venues to be sold out. He then made a lot of excuses as to why sales are slow. Then he laid his head in his hands and asked me to close the door when I left.

Wow… you can look a month into the future and see that it selling, I wonder why Atlanta has sold out and he has a meet and greet for each show that also has sold out. We have tickets for Chicago and was told that it’s a standing room only show and you won’t have numbered seats and that we were wise to buy now because it will sell out… stop being such haters and believing everything Perze Hilton post, he has admitted to offense and you must have it mixed up, he’s number 1 on itunes download r&b, number 1 video on itunes, paid downloads, his music is selling sooo… someone likes him… He didn’t go on tv and sugarcoat what he did, but Riri did, won’t admitt that she has a violent pass, hitting a brother with a bottle in the face, slapping CB several times, she even admitted to this in the court report and yet she sat her scripted butt on tv and covered her azz to sell her new cd, eight months later, weeks before a new cd that have gotten poor reviews, give me a break!!!
Jake 0 seriously, give us all a break from your pathetic lying…you are actually Chris Brown arent you! You are fooling us any more Chris Brown. YOU NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP. IT IS NOT OK TO BEAT ANY WOMAN and then expect everyone to just act like “you messed up”. You broke the law. YOU BROKE THE LAW and your ass is not in jail right now because you are a rich spoiled brat. No one respects you. Go away and get professional counseling before you end up in jail and if you dont face the truth and stop lying about yourself and about what you did, you will end up in jail – you should have done jail time for what you did. We all see who you really are…not someone who messed up…someone who thinks you can do whatever you want to do and never get punished. Wake up.
WHAT U SAID!!!
Jake, i agree with you. I cannot quite get to listing to all the details in the interview. Rhianna’s vocabulary is quite limited. a 7th grader would of done a better job, whose children is she going to talk to? I really enter into Brown’s sympathy, he endured a lot of abuse from this woman, my son for sure would not of taken that.
“Vivid”, for someone who can sit here and speak down on someone’s vocabulary, your serious lack of grammar skills is quite entertaining.
chris is a young man trying to make aliving. his x’s is doing her thing,i’m a mom, so girls that like chris music PLAY IT . everyone know things happen and we do not know what really happen.his hand should be on him,her hands on her.but they kept going back to each other. now the world in it and it out of control, people do this, think about our family’s at war, not this, they are kill every sec. so people lets move on .let the child make his money like you are working, it aJOB LIKE YOURS
Marcia, I agree with you
please learn how to spell and form a sentence.
You can tell that the poster “Jake” is part of the Chris Brown team trying to come online and convince the public to be a fan again. I’m so sick of ppl always trying to find fault in the victim. She got her butt kicked, so even if she did something to him, he made sure she got punished for it. Nobody got to bloody him up and post pix of it like it was a comedy routine.
Obviously Jake’s one of those guys that doesnt mind hitting girlfriends and then makes excuses for why she deserved it.
is this what we want our kids to find it right? just because he is nice looking and can, ahem, sing, and is a typical thug and thorn in the sides of truly talented black entertainers who do have talent, why do we give this type of person a break? my sorriness is not there! go back to ur ghetto self. the blacks want the respect, which i give if they deserve it but brown is a total loser!!!!!
Nobody is excusing Rihanna’s actions. However, she did NOT put Brown’s life in danger.
Yes, Jake, Chris easily could have killed her!
He is so young and so violent!
If YOU want to go (to his concert), then go. I wouldn’t want to go OR pay for any kid of mine to go.
wow you tell em i didnt even know all that ! i mean i knew rihanna was covering her behind! but i didnt know chris was doin so good goo chris ! lol
In one of his talks with whomever he said he wished Rihanna would have kept it quiet or as I would say a secret to save his ass Men who hit women are no good anyway if they hit you once it never ends. He is a looser.
Jake is right no one condones what CB did but this man has to earn a living and no one should not beable to earn a living. He was wrong but how much is one person suppose to take if she expected to keep putting her hands on him and nothing happen she was sadly mistaken, he didn’t just hit her because she caught him in a lie that doesn’t make any sense to me. She was trying to cover herself. I’m a grown woman and I don’t think he should have put his hands on her but she shouldn’t have hit him either. No one really know what happen except the people that were in the car and they are not telling the truth so no one will never know.
“But this man has to earn a living and no one should not be able to earn a living” No one is stopping him from earning a living, first of all he has more than enough money already that he doesn’t need to earn anything else, second of all if he does need money for some reason because he already blew through the millions of dollars he’s made in his very short career let him get a minimum wage job flipping burgers or working retail like the rest of us 20 year olds struggling to make it on our own, or go to college and get a profession where your personal life/abusive relationships aren’t publicized and don’t effect your income.
I am going to say that one reason this issue with Chris and Rhianna is supposedly “Everybody’s business” is because they are celebrities… but let’s see… there are a lot of other celebrities out there that have gone through this and they don’t get the support. For Instance…Ms. Whitney Houston… not only did Bobby beat her but got her strung out on drugs and totally wrecked her career…. but you don’t see people out there screaming… POOR WHITNEY… is this because Whitney is full black and from the United States. You know how we so called Americans can’t ever take care of our OWN people. Ms. Rhiannah is from the islands. For those that don’t know… the women over there are EXTREMELY vindictive and vengeful… and STRONG… there is no doubt in my mind that she was probably abusing Chris Brown as well. Umm, lets see…she said in her interview that he “BLACKED OUT” had no sould in his eyes… this means that he felt threatened… he was fearful… regardless of his size… a woman can do a lot. I KNOW. I am 5′2″ and I date usually tall and well built men, but I will say, I have gotten the best of them. It is possible. I personally don’t condone what either of them did but this whole “coming out” idea from Rhiannah does appear to be a ploy to promote herself and to damage Chris’ image as his “comeback” seems to be working out a lil better than hers. Her single was not the best choice… even quoted by her own peers in the industry. But its not right to use this to slow down Chris’ progress… How bout… she just keep putting out singles until one makes it… But the woe is me… gets old… if she has moved on.. then that should be it. She should admit and take some responsibility for staying in the abusive relationship and just say, whew… Chris Brown… don’t wanna do that again… or something like that… but to be hateful does nothing but keeps a cycle of evil going. They were BOTH wrong… now they BOTH need to MOVE ON!!
The only thing I have to say is that he’ll end up selling tickets. Rhianna and Chris both to me have issues. This incident happen back in Feb. and finally Rhianna wants to speak on it just before her album drops. Take it from me it seems like she wants to make sure her album sells are good. Now don’t get me wrong I DO NOT condone hitting a woman or any physical violence towards each other. I just feel like when we wanted to hear those words from her at that time it wasn’t connvienent. Does anyone else feel that way?? Anyway they are both talented young people and I wish them both the best of luck!!
you know it amazes me as to how people always want to try and say well she must have caused it, I thought that same thing too at first, but i’ve lost all respect for Chris… He wants to write her an appology song? What you cant go and be man enough to say your sorry in private you have to do it in public for everyone to hear? man please you was man enough to beat her, and to treat her like that, you deserve to get this back, you reap what you sow. want to say that Rihanna was scripted? what about his online public appology that was so damn scripted, he cant do it without someone telling him what to say, he’s a punk. all the time having something to say, and she is just now saying something, so sad to see him losing his career, but maybe this is what he needed, to show him he isnt superman
Let’s be real CB, you have issues with your sexuality and you take it out on Riri to express your latent attraction to men (not that there is anything wrong with that).
Get a grip on your feelings of inadequacy and your fear of abandonment.
Talk to a shrink, but don’t think you can pray away the gay.
Leave Chris alone. He is a good guy,he made a mistake,he is doing what is required of him by law.If anyone of you have ever done anything wrong and be reminded for the rest of your life. How would you feel? He does have fans who love and appreciate his music.Stop trying to bring a brother down. GET OVER IT ALL YOU HATERS!!!
No, man is to hit and/or abuse any woman but now it is time for people to let both Rihanna & Chris grow and heal from this experience which will including letting them both continue with their careers. By Chris physically abusing Rihanna he has and will continue to pay for his actions but he is a gifted singer/performer who needs to make a living as he was doing in the past before Feb. 09.
By now I do believe his has gotten the message and with the proper professional help as well if he is really willing and ready to help himself, he will become a better man but we the public can not force someone to change unless they are ready and willing to change and except help.
As with all abused people I hope Rihanna is getting the proper professional help that she needs and wants.
This is a learning experience of all of us not just Rihanna & Chris.
lolololol…..if u guys were smart you would see that chris cares more about his career and money than his fans…….no one deserves to be beat and bitten…noone…he is guilty by his own admission, as for riri she is not american jack azz
I think Crhis Brown made a mistake let him live, he is not the only man or woman that has been abruse out there we move on and get over it.
Chris Brown is going down and is finished … don’t support beating up on women … please … he is done! Please do not buy any tickets for any venue with Chris Brown’s name on it!
Chris Brown’s and Jon Gosselin’s PR peeps are from the same school. They both have the impossible task of fooling all of the people all of the time. Chris, Jake, vivid, and the cadre of rabid on-line Chris Brown supporters need to recognize that you cannot pretty up something as ugly as Chris Brown has proven to be on the inside. Get some help Chris. Be serious about it. That will do more to resurrect your career than your fake posturings. And tell your peeps to stop trying to denigrate Rihanna. They only serve to illustrate your lack of remorse and repentance the more.
I should have said “must be” from the same school.
While I don’t condone anyone beating on the other, I think Rihyanna provoked the situation; yet she came out smelling like a rose. Not mention her career had exploded since then. Give Chris a chance so he can make a living. Other entertainers have done worse and is doing okay. He needs a chance.
Maybe Chris and Kanye should tour together…seems like a good fit.
Please leave Chris Brown alone or at least cut him some slack. Chris should of course get some counseling. He is a victim also. A victim of how he was raised. Children learn from their environment. Under pressure he responded to what was learned. As long as he gets help to unlearn what he has been taught, I will support him. I do not listen to his music or buy it. I am a mother of a daughter Rhianna’s age. And this situation would upset me too if it were my daughter. But I can not advocate trying to prevent anyone from making a living. I too was a victim of abuse by my boyfriend some 18 years ago. I got out. Cooler heads must prevail.
Ashley and Amy are obviously women who believe because they is a woman she can get away with literally anything. Isn’t is funny how these so called feminist are so quick to blame the man for everything? On one hand women want equal rights unless it comes to throwing blows. Even Chris Brown admitted he was wrong for what he did, you cant change the past. If a woman doesn’t like being hit then she SHOULDN’T hit a man either. Listen to Amy’s post:” so even if she did something to him”. How about this Amy what if she never hit him in the first place, then we probably wouldn’t have this to argue over. She MADE herself a victim, and Jake is right she is using that to promote her album and hurt him at the same time. No, I’m not Chris Brown but I have seen plenty of women who throw punches and slap men and don’t expect to get slapped back. What these women really want are weak men who will take their shit. I’m all for equal rights, but how often does man get to press charges, how many sexual harassment cases have men brought against women? I have had plenty of women hit on me, some in positions higher up. It made me uncomfortable but thats something I had to suck up, its no way in hell I had any chance of filing a complaint. Even being told once when I complained “Well, she’s a woman.” I guess that means its to be expected. You wannabe amazons are full of it…
You have to excuse my grammar, I clearly forgot to change a few things…
We all can’t get what we want out of life and you can’t expect a man to back down from a woman or she won’t respect him. Jake was right, its about control and respect. Rhi messed up. Period. Lets stop covering 4 her like she’s some type of angel. Rhi pushed him too far!! She’s lucky that’s all she got. I’m in chicago. I can’t wait til his show!!
wow.. i cant believe the people on here.. or anywhere.. for the sake of the argument lets say she DId “provoke” him.. did he turn up with bruses and bites and black eyes from her? no.. and if he was that upset by her then he could have gotten out of the car.. he held her in and beat the crap out of her.. i cant believe people think he had a good excuse and thats ok.. if he even really wanted to fix the situation in the publics eye then he would lay low for a long time to get help and make sure he would never do something like that again.. whats wrong with people thinkin she got what she deserved? HE even admitted he was wrong and what he did.. HE ADMITTED IT! what more do u people need? its HIS fault.. if he had been able to be an actual “man” and control his temper like one then he wouldnt be in this situation would he? its HIS fault
listen, people screw up. if you like someone, you like them. you need to seperate their personal life from their talent. MJ might of been a creep, but he is talented. Kanye is a jerk, but he is talented. And Chris is angry, but talented. SEPERATE THEIR HOME LIVES FROM THEIR CAREERS!!
For some reason I couldn’t reply specifically to this comment but it was shannon at 12:41, though a few people made a similar point, “But this man has to earn a living and no one should not be able to earn a living” No one is stopping him from earning a living, first of all he has more than enough money already that he doesn’t need to earn anything else, second of all if he does need money for some reason because he already blew through the millions of dollars he’s made in his very short career let him get a minimum wage job flipping burgers or working retail like the rest of us 20 year olds struggling to make it on our own, or go to college and get a profession where your personal life/abusive relationships aren’t publicized and don’t effect your income.
It didn’t take long before the ‘race card’ was thrown in. To “An Older Woman”–stop the madness!! There is no way people ignored the Whitmey situation because she was “100% black”—ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME???? There will always be race issues if you keep screaming that everytime you get a chance.
I think the Whitney thing didn’t get as much attention is because they did not have website like TMZ, Radaronline, etc—THAT is the reason.
Quit being such a hater–let’s all move on.
