The Tiger Woods SNL skit did not amuse

The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence is voicing its disapproval of a skit about that ran over the weekend. It involved Kenan Thompson playing a beaten and battered Tiger and Blake Lively as the ass-kicking wife Elin. NCADV director Rita Smith said she was “horrified” that SNL “made such a mocker of abuse.”

“There’s nothing funny about this story, particularly if violence was part of the events that took place … I hope that SNL refrains from using this kind of skit in the future as it diminishes people’s support for victims of domestic violence.”

God, people are so dumb. If it was up to society as a whole to agree on what we should and shouldn’t find funny, we wouldn’t be laughing at anything. Someone should tell Rita violence against men is funny. Especially when it’s a hot model kicking the shit out of them because they cheated on her with 300 girls during their marriage.

    That skit was funny. I am so tired of these passive, dutiful wives “standing by their unfaithful man” and not reacting like any red-blooded American woman would react. There were many women in America who would have given their eyeteeth to see Hilary pack Bill’s stuff in garbage bags & toss them out of a window of the White House onto the front lawn. Don’t tell me that a thought like this hasn’t crossed the mind of every woman who had been cheated on. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you were born & raised or what socioeconomic background you are in, all women are the same; when you do a woman wrong you bring out the “hood” in her. You go Elin, keep swinging. FYI – I was an abused woman years ago and I quickly left that situation and pressed charges. So, I am not someone who has no clue what living in an abusive relationship is like. This situation is totally different. I miss the “good ole days” before political correctness killed most everyone’s sense of humor.

    Where is the outrage re:the emotional abuse he inflicted on his wife and kids? Isn’t abusive to have unprotected sex with a pornstar (and others) and then have sex with your wife without her knowing about your habits? Oh,I forgot- it’s ok cuz he is a MAN and makes lots of money. Well, as long as society can give guys a pat on the back and a wink for this type of crap, Elin has a right to beat his a–. I hope she did some permanent damage!

    Zenith you are so backwards. This is clearly showing women abusing men and society thinking it is okay. And where did you get the unprotected sex thing. How do you know. See that is why women like you make women like me mad and look bad. You have just played the victim card already and don’t now a damn thing. Get off the victim bus.

    You are entitled to your opinion and so am I to mine. Only YOU can make yourself look bad. Contrary to what you see here, I am not playing out a victim plot. I stated quite clearly that what’s good for one should be allowable for another. Until our society gets it, I THINK people should have a right to address a serious wrong that is most often perpetrated against women. Where did I get the reports of unprotected sex? The have been reported in the media by some of Tiger’s proven mistresses. Read, learn and think before attacking with ignorance. THAT makes you look bad.
