Willie Maxine Perry, mother to Maeda cross-dresser/director extraordinaire Tyler Perry and inspiration for those Maeda movies that I will never have the patience to watch, died at the age of 64. Perry wrote on his website: “Willie Maxine Perry. February 12, 1945 to December 8, 2009. Thank you for all your prayers.” No other details were released about her death which makes me believe she isn’t dead.
Maybe when he wrote “to December 8, 2009” he meant something else. Like, December 8 is symbolic of the day his mother was reborn, transforming into Super-Willie Maxine Perry. Probably not, but one can always hope. Condolences Tyler Perry, you frustratingly popular filmmaker, you.

Tyler Perry’s movies are hysterical. I’m sure he must have taken several notes from his mom, over the years and incorporated it into his characters.
wow, i hope someone is not this insensitive at your funeral!!!
