Kim Kardashian wants to play Lara Croft
According to an erroneous report, Kim Kardashian is in talks to replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Last year, Dan Lin said Jolie won’t be back to continue the franchise and that bosses wanted to cast a younger actress (oh, snap!).
For no reason at all, Kim Kardashian’s name is being thrown around. A source says, “Kim has wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara, which would be shot in 3D and aimed at a teen audience.” That actually answers both of my questions. One was how Kim would carry the film despite not having any discernible acting talent. The other was would this be in 3D?! That was meant as sarcasm but now that I think about it, it’d be a technological achievement to motorboat Kim using 3D technology.
