Miley Cyrus performed at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto over the weekend dressed as a chola while singing “Party in the USA”. It’s not clear what this song has to do with a bunch of gangsters on low riders circling her like they were about to rape her but whatever. I don’t think her fans were there to question her promotion of stereotypes, but if they were, they forgot about it when Justin Bieber hit the stage. That’s when they lost their shit.
