Britney Spears went shopping at Crate & Barrel yesterday and she showed off her janky weave. She looks like she was mauled by a bear. Hasn’t her hair grown back yet? A shaved head would look better than this. It’s like someone ripped hair off a wig and knotted it to Britney’s head. You could get a better looking weave by stapling it to her head.
In other news, remember when Mel Gibson and Britney had a fancy dinner together and gave Britney support when she was at rock bottom? Well, Britney is returning the favor. She’s now Mel’s only friend. Mel has been confiding in her during late night phone calls.
Britney’s may seem like an unlikely shoulder for the Braveheart star to cry on, but the pop star’s pal says she is simply returning the favor to the actor, who went out of his way to help her when she went through her own breakdown. “Mel was one of the only people who reached out to help Britney when she was at her lowest point, and she believes that demonstrates what a loving and wonderful man he is,” says the friend. “She wants people to give him a second chance — just like he gave her one when everyone else turned away.”
Talking to Britney late at night must be frustrating. Most of the time you can’t understand her with all that Cheez Wiz in her mouth and other times her solution to everything is always “donuts.”
