Paris Hilton treated like a princess in jail

Paris Hilton was processed and released from Clark County Detention Center in three hours; half the time it takes to process a normal person facing the same charge. Las Vegas police are now defending the quick release claiming that if they held her any longer, she’d disrupt everything. From Popeater:

“Yeah, she was treated differently so I don’t have a disruption of my process here at the county jail,” said Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief Jim Dixon, who runs the jail. “When you bring somebody in like that, everybody comes over and tries to look at them. I’d have officers attempting to keep inmates away from her. I’d have disruptions.”

…Dixon noted a crowd of about 100 people gathered outside the Wynn Las Vegas resort to snap photos and shoot video of Hilton while her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

What Deputy Chief Jim Dixon is saying is if you cause enough of a public commotion, they’ll expedite you through everything. So next time you’re arrested in Vegas, don’t be polite and respectful. Make sure to cause a big enough scene to where inmates will run over to see what’s going on. I suggest shouting “Do you know who I am?!” or stabbing a knife in the air.
