Gwyenth Paltrow didn’t want to do the casting couch

In the latest Elle, Gwyneth Paltrow was asked about any casting couch experiences. Gwyneth says that once when she was a young, budding actress just starting out, someone asked her to finish a meeting in the bedroom. Clearly, she wanted none of that. She has.. what’s that word Lindsay Lohan can’t pronounce? Oh, yea. Dignity.

Q. Have you ever had a casting-couch experience?
A. Yup. When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom. I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, “My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!”

Gwyneth is an inspiration to every young actress in Hollywood. She made it in Tinsel Town all by herself with hard work and dedication. Her godfather, Steven god damn Spielberg, father, award winning producer Bruce Paltrow, and mother, actress Blythe Danner, had obviously nothing to do with it.
