Wesley Snipes to serve 3 years for tax evasion

Wesley Snipes is in the custody of federal authorities and on his way to federal prison to begin his 3 year sentence for tax evasion.

Wesley was found guilty in 2008 for not paying taxes on the $38 million he’s earned since 1999. He’s been appealing ever since. Today a U.S. District Court judge, clearly tired of his shenanigans, ordered him to surrender immediately. “The Defendant Snipes had a fair trial … The time has come for the judgment to be enforced.”

On the bright side, the taxes he withheld from the government can easily buy him 100,000 cigarettes for use as prison currency. He’ll live like a king and might not even be raped!

Wow. Rape jokes. That’s pathetic, no matter if he deserves jail or not. (He does.)

Are you serious, if you know anything you should know that he has paid his taxes and he is 82 years old and has served the country well. His just takes care of his business sloppily, after 40 years in congress he deserves some respect!

Huh! And Senator Charlie Rangel will do how much time? And he was the head of the Ways and Means committee the chief tax-writing committee in Washington DC.

Isn’t it interesting who pays and who doesn’t.

They should all get one yr in prison for each yr they evaded taxes. And then still have to pay the taxes plus a penalty to boot.

Rangel is a crook too. I don’t care how long you supposedly served, a crrok is a crook. And if you are talking about congress, he didn’t serve the country, he served himself and the district he ran in. I could care less about his age either. He is definitely a dinosaur and needs to go.
