And the Nominees Are

The 83rd Academy Awards take place on February 27 on ABC and blah blah blah the nominations were released today. Aren’t you excited?! King’s Speech, that movie about a speech impediment, leads with 12 nominations while True Grit, that movie where Jeff Bridges goes on and on and on and on, has 10. The Social Network, nerds!, and Inception, BRAAAAAWM, both have 8 nominations. Christopher Nolan, however, still wasn’t nominated for Best Director. He must have slept with their moms or something. That could be why at the end of this list there was a special note to Nolan from the Academy that said they’ll never call him daddy. Full list under the cut from Deadline.
