Planking is the dumbest trend ever unless a girl asks you to plank her boobs like UFC fighter Jake Shields was asked to by Tracy Lee. Then it’s the most awesome thing ever.
Anyway, Xzibit tweeted this the other day. “Planking is THE dumbest s**t ever” and “#Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, its not funny. Educate.” Luckily, Xzbit doesn’t care what you put your face down in as he writes, “Dont get it twisted. I care less where your dumb asses lay face down and take pictures of the sh*t, I’m just telling you where it came from.”
Granted, while the method that slaves were transported in slave ships is similar, it wasn’t called planking. Besides, I sleep face down like that on my bed in the middle of the afternoon. Does that mean I’m mocking slavery? I mean, I am of course, but can you tell that just by looking?!
On the other hand, Rosario Dawson, Ellen Page, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and others have all planked at one point or another. It’s good to know I can now call them racists and/or ignorant.
I hope he feels the same way about the ‘n-word’, pig feet, chitterlings & neckbones cuz they also originated from slavery.
