Corey Feldman Talks Hollywood Pedophiles

In case you missed the link, Corey Feldman did an interview with ABC News’ Nightline where he said the number one scourge of Hollywood is pedophiles. He even blamed Corey Haim’s death on one Hollywood mogul pedophile in particular who he won’t name because he has a lot to lose like, um, his career? No. His reputation? Hm, not that either. Well, I don’t know why he doesn’t name them but he explains.

“I can tell you that the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia. That’s the biggest problem for children in this industry. … It’s the big secret,” Feldman said.

The “casting couch,” which is the old Hollywood reference to actors being expected to offer sex for roles, applied to children, Feldman said. “Oh, yeah. Not in the same way. It’s all done under the radar,” he said.

“I was surrounded by [pedophiles] when I was 14 years old. … Didn’t even know it. It wasn’t until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted … till I went, Oh, my God. They were everywhere,” Feldman, 40, said.

In the immortal words of Haley Joel Osment, “I see pedophiles.”

“There’s one person to blame in the death of Corey Haim. And that person happens to be a Hollywood mogul. And that person needs to be exposed, but, unfortunately, I can’t be the one to do it,” Feldman said, adding that he, too, had been sexually abused by men in show business.

Feldman said his realization followed the discovery of what some adults around him had allegedly done to other children. “There was a circle of older men … around this group of kids. And they all had either their own power or connections to great power in the entertainment industry,” he said.

I have this big secret that could rock the entertainment industry and potentially save other child actors but I won’t tell it because then I won’t be able to milk it anymore. Either he’s a giant asshole or he’s lying.

Corey Haim’s mother emailed ABC saying she’s not going to discuss anything Feldman has to say and wishes he’d leave her son’s name out of the press.

Meanwhile, Chris Snyder, who managed Feldman and other child stars such as Drew Barrymore, the Olsen twins and River Phoenix, says, “I’ve never heard that one about Corey Haim.”

To which Corey probably responded, “No, no, it’s all true. Hey, when do you want to book another interview with me. I’m free through the rest of the year. Oh, ok. Cool. So, I’ll just wait for your call then?”

It’s for real. Haim spoke of this on the Two Coreys and gave an interview to People magazine. The movie mogul would now be 45 years old: http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20221634,00.html That history has been laid bare on The Two Coreys, a reality series on A&E that reunited Haim and Feldman and exposed their rapidly disintegrating relationship. During the show’s second season, both actors confessed that they had been sexually abused as kids: Feldman by a man hired to be his assistant, Haim by a 42-year-old man he won’t identify. Not long after those startling revelations, Haim suffered a relapse in his 20-year… Read more »

What a cry baby. As a child the only thing I never had to endure was being plugged by a billionaire. But after sleeping on the ground and helping my mom shoot up or being smacked in the face while driving down the hwy at 9 years old to the dealers for not speeding, I would have volunteered to take it in the butt for a million dollars.  But hey I turned out fine! Its one thing to say you would not put ur kids threw it or that it was such a bad thing when u already have the… Read more »

Gosh Travis are you a pedofile also…..How can you say that you would “take it in the butt for a million dollars” because you clearly thinks it’s okay.  Get a clue and go to a support group for these children or adults.  Maybe then (but probably not) you might feel some remorse for saying what you said.  I’m sorry you had a rough childhood, but alot of us did and you don’t here us saying please molest me so I’ll be rich…..

You turned out fine, you don’t see anything wrong with grown men molesting little children as long as the parents get paid. God help your kids, cause obviously, if the price is right, you won’t.

How rich can he be, if his partner Corey Haim’s is published as dying BROKE. Some people earn 30k a year and blow 20k on drugs, others earn 700k a year and blow 600k on drugs. Blowing your money is blowing it gone. People always say if i had the money i buy this or that or do this. WHY. Why waste $80 on a quarter pound burger when you can buy one for $10 or half. Prestige is a lie. SHOW business is called the devil’s in the Bible when it’s intent is not entertain but to show what… Read more »

You don’t sound like you turned out ok Travis. That was sooooo ignorant. Corey, I cried for a long time when Haim died. If you don’t name names, who will? It has to be you buddy. Do what’s right and name names. Truth is an absolute defense to a defamation action. You can do this Corey.

This isn’t as easy as you think, people who talk are ‘suicided’ all the time, where’s that guy who busted Rupert Murdoch, oh, that’s right, dead. Look at this article, he is already being demonized, these people have endless money, own the press but sadly no scruples or conscience. Survivors of abuse by the rich risk more than their reputation when they speak out. And naming one person won’t stop it, it is an embedded aspect of the industry. As long as people are willing to sell their children, this will continue.

His life would probably be in danger if he named names, not to mention the character assasination he would experience.  I mean, look at all the sick, corrupt actors who signed the petition for Polanski — Natalie Portman, Penelope Cruz, etc.

They are all willing to sacrifice children for their “art”.  Sorry peeps, the s**t you turn out is just banal, commodified entertainment.  It’s not art and even if it were, you are all sucky sinners.

Hmmmm. What a coincidence that all the child stars mentioned have had terrible drug and alcohol problems. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

If this is true, he has to name names or no one is going to believe him.  Where were the parents?  I thought they were required to be present.  Shouldn’t this have been brought up by the child actor advocacy group A Minor Consideration?  He also is saying that anyone that works as an actor in Hollywood has been molested or slept around?  Pretty intense stuff to throw out there and not follow through.

So sad. I’m reminded of that scene in the Godfather when Robert Duvall’s character is going to meet that powerful Hollywood mogul at his mansion and you see that stage mom walking out with her young daughter. The look on that child’s face is so haunting.

The parents are generally really messed up.  Actually, most people in Hollywood are a mess.  Very dysfunctional people whose childhoods just didn’t allow them to develop properly.

I agree wholeheartedly, Disqus.  I like you a lot, but you never know you believe something until it happens to you.  If your wildest dreams happened to you, honestly, would you try to keep the peace so you could continue to purse that fulfilled life (I personally wouldn’t, as great as it sounds) or would you out the person who was partially responsible for ruining you AND for making your dreams come true, thereby guaranteeing the great parts of your life would NEVER be what they once were.  If you can’t identify, imagine giving up your first love or the… Read more »

weird, really?  but he didn’t work with him!  he also isn’t still friends w/ feldman.  I think it’s schumacher.  the timing fits, both feldman and haim still tread lightly, as if they forgive him (haim doesn’t condone a friendship) but he knows outcasting him would ruin his career.  It would have ruined whatever chance he would have had for a comeback.

Who else is a hollywood mogul?  That feldman was still friends with?  Can you imagine how many people know the answer to this and are just not coming forward?  Watch the 2nd season of the Corey show

This is what people aren’t getting, it isn’t one person, the industry is riddled with pedo’s and they are rich and dangerous. How many of these performers end up as drug addicts, alcoholics, cutters, overdoses /suicides. Then the press blames it on ‘pressures’. Everyone has pressures. These performers are abuse survivors, whole other ball o’ wax. Corey has alot of courage to say what he did, he will be attacked in the press, but perhaps by not naming names, he hopes to keep his life.

Why won’t he say? Probably in fear for his life. This article is very in keeping with traditional views, demonize the victim. River Phoenix? Dead. Drew Barrymore? Child alcoholic drug abuser, the twins? Anorexia, substance abuse, I take my hat to Corey for speaking out, he will be attacked by the press, this is just the start. There is so much corruption in that industry, and sadly, too many parents willing to sell their children..

Ok I understand he maybe in fear for his life, he has opened his mouth and said something that is not a secret.  Can’t he get some kind of protection and speak up?  I feel the parents of these kids are just dumb as hell for not being with them everystep of the way if this is the life style they want to subject them too.  He should step up as a man, and adult and help put an end to this instead of letting more kids suffer at the hands of these people. What a horrible article.  What does Corey Feldman have to lose by exposing the biggest secret in Hollywood?  Hmm, maybe his life?  Let’s say he named names, then what?  You need proof and evidence.  How could he prove it?  You can’t fight such a powerful group of people when you don’t have money for lawyers and bribes.  Corey Feldman wouldn’t get very far if he pursued this.

Also, I think it may be libel to name people, even if they’re guilty. In other cases of child abuse/molestation/rape the slime who do this are in the upper echelons, and would sue for so much money that those who put their necks out there to do the right thing would never have the suits paid off…APPARENTLY. But that is unjust. No one is above the law. Corey Feldman needs a really good lawyer or legal advice to instruct him on what not to do, as much as what TO DO. But he did already say he isn’t going to… Read more »

I like Corey, loved the Corey’s.  I feel badly for him, he’s very sad.  He was exploited horribly by his greedy parents, early fame, twisted ego and a lot of pain. It’s difficult to see him struggle.  Even more sadly, RIP Corey Haim.
I always hope for peace and happiness for you, Corey Feldman.

First person I thought of when I heard this was Rob Reiner. Haim auditioned for Stand By Me, of which Reiner directed. Haim didn’t make the cut, but who was? River Phoenix and Corey Feldman. All three of which have allegedly been molested or preyed upon as children by unnamed entities in “Hollywood”. Reiner has always struck me as the type, and it all just seems to fit. To me, anyway. I’ve read plenty about maybe Spielberg. It’s intriguing, but I’m definitely in the Reiner camp right now. Just seems to ring true. Explained the story to someone else, first… Read more »

I believe him. My cousin was a victim of Hollywood on several levels, ended up a gay porn maker at 14 or 15. He’s more than likely dead by now. I wish he’d told what was happening to him. I wish he’d told his dad, who was famous enough to raise serious hell. But he was hospitalized instead for “schizophrenia.” Long time ago, when boys never talked. Whatever jerk wrote this article hasn’t got a single clue. Those of us who endured it, know. People who write snarky articles make me ill.

I have always felt sad for Corey Haim because he really had a hard time with what happened to him. I believe Corey Feldman. But I also know it wasn’t Michael Jackson. I remember Corey Feldman saying he went to Neverland to get away from the abuse. He has always maintained he didn’t tell MJ he was being abused so no one can say that MJ knew about it and did nothing. Before Corey Haim died he spoke very highly of Michael Jackson to Fox news and the Associated Press. Haim said he hated the way people treated Michael Jackson… Read more »
