Pitbull Invites Lindsay Lohan to the VMAs

Pitbull finally responded to the lawsuit filed against him by Lindsay Lohan over the song Give Me Everything. Lindsay is trolling for money over the lyrics “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’, I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

Pitbull went on Univision and said at first he thought it was a joke but he came to find out it was very “realistic.” Unlike that painting of a lawsuit he was once given. He explained that he supported Lindsay’s career and that the call-out was actually positive.

“When I mentioned Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was a really positive message,” he explained. “When I say ‘I got it locked up’…that means you run that neighborhood. When I say ‘I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,’ I say she runs her world, I’m trying to run mine.”

Although, not being the sharpest tool in the shed, he went on to say,

Still, despite the song’s “positive message,” Pitbull said he never intended to “defame, degrade or hurt anyone’s career. We mention people’s names all the time. Rapping is always about double meanings and metaphors.”

Yea, you might want to leave out the double meanings and metaphors part when you talk to the judge. That’s like saying I didn’t kill that hooker but that my bachelor parties are always about stabbing people.

Later, in an effort to smooth things over, Pitbull asks Lindsay to be his date at the VMAs where he’ll be performing the song.

For some reason this sounds a little disingenuous. Maybe because of the constant clenched fists or this video of him punching a fan. I get the feeling that if Lindsay accepted, she’d end up with a bucket of pig’s blood dumped on her like Carrie.

Lindsay might share the same feeling. Sources say she has no interest in going to the VMAs and his apology has no impact on the lawsuit.

If I was Pitbull, I’d wave an afterparty pass in the air and say, “Maybe THIS will change you’re mind,” and I’d be sure to point to the words “open bar” on it.
