People are calling Beyonce out once again for lightening her skin in her latest promo pics for her fourth studio album, 4. Beyonce is in a blonde wig lying down seductively with much whiter skin in the photos. Experts blame the lighting but others are saying she’s trying to hide her heritage.

This isn’t the first time Beyonce has been the center of a “whitewashing” controversy. In 2008, L’Oreal was accused of digitally lightening her skin and last February, Beyonce was seen stepping out with a black mini-dress and much paler skin.

Maybe she just saw Powder and thought the movie was really cool. Like when you were a kid and tried to dress up as a Ninja Turtle. Yea, that could totally be it!

    i don’t want to make assumptions, but within recent years, shes been looking whiter and whiter? she knows people are talking but she won’t address the issue. i guess she’s waiting on a big interview with diane sawyer or something to bring it up. until then, i remain suspicious.

    She’s not talking because she doesn’t care how you feel. I mean really.. She’s the only lightskinned Black person that can’t tan while constantly in the sun, then become lighter when not exposed to those elements. For heavens sake, my lil brother is called white boy in the winter and papi in the summer and we’re Black. Get the eff over it! All Black people arent dark skinned geesh!

    What kills me is everyone complaining has seen Beyonce since she was a baby and her complexion CONSTANTLY changes. From caramel to very light back to caramel.. Its not like she was brown skin and has magically become light skinned and STAYED that way (even while sunning WEEKS AT A TIME). A particular singer comes to mind… But since she’s NOT BEYONCE.. that ish normal right? You people irk me!
