Jim Carrey’s Daughter Received Preferential Treatment

Stop the presses. Have I got shocking news for you. A celebrity’s daughter received preferential treatment on a reality show. News at 7! Also, you may be surprised to find out the sky is blue.

As you may or may not have heard, Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane, auditioned for American Idol and managed to get a golden ticket. Though her American Idol experience was vastly different than that of her peers. Mostly because she never had to wait in line like those other schmucks.

“She didn’t have to sleep outside and wait for hours hoping to audition like everyone else,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “She basically had an appointment and showed up!”

The source said they doubted if the judges knew about the special treatment Jane was given, but the show gave her the VIP service.

“Her audition was pre-arranged with the producers. She did not wait and line up for hours or days outside – she had a time, she showed up and went in,” the source said. Radar Online

If I were Jane, I’d name drop my dad, Jim Carrey, too. Only suckers wait in line. Which is exactly what I tell people when I cut in front of them at Starbucks.

Ms.carrey is a fake person and if she sing that good they need to end the show and make her the winner. This contest are for people that dosent have the opportunity like she does to go on to studio and perform and even though its sounds easy they have to work their but off to make it to the door so to me shes a looser she need to perform from the beginning make the line and suffer like everybody else or have her dad get her a singing contract that i know he can and let other tough people… Read more »

This is not at all fair. Just because she’s a celebrity’s daughter doesn’t mean she gets the same treatment he does. I have never heard of her until tonight when I was watching the Auditions. She’s good and she seems like a sweet girl. Don’t down on her just because it may seem like she’s receiving “special treatment”. I’d like to see you try to get up there and sing in front of all of America. Girl’s got guts!

She was good? Absolutely not. She didn’t suck, but she was average. The only reason she made it through was cause of her father. Had she been a normal girl they would have she wasn’t ready. That’s is all

AND she DID receive special treatment! If she didn’t hbe to wait in line like everyone else, I’d call that and so would most people, special treatment.

Anything positive to say? If not shut the F up. Everyone needs a break so she got one move in ……… vs playing in a reporters sandbox

The show’s reputation has taken a hit on this one. The show’s producers
have said that they don’t give special treatment to anyone and they gave
it to Jane. People wait in line outside for days to meet the judges and
Jane didn’t have to. She has a good set of pipes. Why didn’t her dad
call his agent for a favor and get Jane signed? I wonder what other
crooked things (example: phone/text vote fixing rumors) go on behind the
scenes of American Idol?
