It was really weird that Lindsay Lohan didn’t get that Lovelace role about a girl who gags on dick for a living because it seemed to be a role she’d been researching her whole life. Surprisingly, Lindsay snagged the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime Original Movie instead. But not to worry. The film will be called Liz and Dick so there will still be penis jokes.
Lindsay, who hasn’t appeared in a film since 2010, will play Taylor, “whose stormy relationship with Richard Burton led them to marry and divorce each other twice.” Basically, everything you expect from a Lifetime movie.
According to GossipCop, Lifetime demanded Lindsay fulfill all her probation requirements before production begins in March. Which is another hurdle because Lindsay is a screw-up.
Though TMZ says Lindsay is taking this role seriously. Lindsay is living and breathing Elizabeth Taylor by watching all her old film, watching interviews online and reading a bunch of her biographies all to recreate her posture, speech and other idiosyncrasies.
$10 bucks says when they start filming, Lindsay, with all that research, will end up breaking out an English accent and go, “Hallo, guvna,” every 10 minutes.
