Amanda Bynes Thinks People are Sexist
Even though Amanda Bynes has been stumbling out of bars drunk more and more often, sideswiping a cop car and getting a DUI in the process and backing up over a curb while texting, giving off the impression she’s in a downward spiral doesn’t mean she deserves comparisons to Lindsay Lohan. In fact, Amanda thinks the comparisons are downright sexist.
“Amanda thinks its extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan,” a source close to the actress tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Comparisons between the two are just ridiculous as Amanda has never been arrested for drug possession or for stealing anything. Yes, she got arrested for a DUI, but that doesn’t mean that she is headed down the same road as Lindsay. Amanda doesn’t harbor any negative feelings towards Lindsay, she doesn’t even know her, she just thinks it’s sexist that the two are being compared. Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUI’s don’t face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda. She isn’t taking the DUI arrest lightly.” Radar
Amanda argues that she can’t be compared to Lindsay unless she hits the trifecta (DUI, drug possession, stealing). Who would have guessed that Lindsay would ever be known for setting such high standards.
FYI she wasn’t texting when she backed onto the curb. The photo of her texting doesn’t show whether she was driving or stopped. In the photo of her backing onto the curb you can see that she has her hands on the wheel and is looking at where she’s reversing.
