Dick Clark Dead at 82

Dick Clark, the 82-year-old immortal that everyone thought would come out every New Year’s Eve, died today at St. Johns Hospital in LA after a massive heart attack following an outpatient procedure.

Ryan Seacrest, who will probably become the new Dick Clark, said, “I idolized him from the start, and I was graced early on in my career with his generous advice and counsel. He was a remarkable host and businessman and left a rich legacy to television audiences around the world. We will all miss him.”
