Christian Bale Once Dated Drew Barrymore

In the June/July issue of GQ Australia, Christian Bale tells the magazine that he once dated Drew Barrymore as a teenager. Drew never called back.

“We went to see some bloody awful horror film, and that was the end of it,” he told the magazine of their teenage romance. “She never called again.”

Don’t think Drew Barrymore has any regrets though. Sure, Christian Bale went on to be nominated for numerous awards and eventually win an Oscar for The Fighter and will be known as the greatest incarnation of Batman ever. But Drew Barrymore had her own success starring in Freddy Got Fingered and Charlie’s Angels and went on to date the Mac guy before getting engaged to another guy named Will Kopelman.  No, no. Those are tears of joy running down Drew’s face.
