Dominic Monaghan and Matthew Fox both starred on Lost but that doesn’t make them buddies. Mostly because Monaghan doesn’t like to hang out with women-beaters. This according to Monaghan himself.
A few days ago last Sunday, a fan named Becca asked Dominic, who was promoting the documentary series Wild Things on Twitter, “holla at matthew fox and tell him to get a twitter i beg of you.” He responded simply with, “he beast women. No thanks.”
Becca thought Monaghan was referring to what she believed to be an isolated incident last August where a party bus driver accused Fox of punching her in the breasts and vagina. “I KNOW IT WAS WRONG BUT WHAT?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER?!,” she wrote back.
Monaghan replied, “how do you know we ever did?you don’t know either of us.he beats women.not isolated incidents.often.not interested.”
This accusation shattered the reality for a few fans causing them to lash out in defense of celebrity they don’t know and probably never met. “Spreading an accusation that EVEN eww-TMZ didn’t make… How classy. Hope Matthew Fox sues you for defamation.” Fate 815 continued: “He knows nothing, he’s just spreading rumors based on TMZ (!), hates Matthew Fox for personal reasons & bashes him,” while another fan tweeted, “I loved Dom but he just lost so much respect from me.”
Dominic’s last tweet on the subject was just, “an accusation is when you ‘claim’ someone did something wrong.i know.but hey little fan girl maybe want to get slapped, and it’s very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth. Have you received an education dear?”
Matthew Fox apologists are probably coming up with excuses for him right now. “Hey, maybe those women just didn’t say the safe word,” one of them thought.
