If you were wondering, no I didn’t watch the MTV Movie Awards. Why? Because Game of Thrones season finale. Oh and a little something called dignity.
Besides, anyone could have figured out the winners. Basically, the longer the line and the bigger the hype, the more awards the movie will win. Which is why The Hunger Games won four awards last night. Meanwhile, Harry Potter won two awards and Twilight won movie of the year with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson winning best kiss trophy for the fourth straight year.
Not like KRob or RobStew or StewPat or whatever ridiculous moniker people have chosen for them were going up against stiff competition. The best kiss category was pretty much invented for them just to get those two to kiss on stage so all the tweens would freak out. ZOMG they is kissing, Must tweet!
Anyway, Charlize Theron was there. She’s promoting Prometheus and Snow White (which was #1 at the box office this weekend) so why not hit up the awards while she’s in town. Also, since I sort of left off with her last week, what better way to start off with her this week.
